Crossroads Academy

Crossroads Academy

Located in the Kenmore Town of Tonawanda Union Free School District, Crossroads Academy is a non-traditional education program located within Kenmore Junior/Senior High School. Crossroads Academy offers an opportunity to 11th and 12th grade Ken-Ton students who are at risk of not obtaining enough credits for a high school diploma and graduating with their cohort. Students are accepted to Crossroads Academy for a variety of reasons, but with the common goal of graduation at the forefront. The instructional format includes both small-group classroom instruction and the Edmentum credit recovery program, with a focus on relationship building and fostering responsibility, perseverance, and confidence. Currently, our program has a maximum enrollment of thirty students, with eight staff members.

Crossroads Academy believes that every individual is capable of finding success in education, and that the momentum from each success builds exponentially.

Crossroads Academy believes students learn best when they have developed positive relationships with the adults and peers in their school community. Crossroads Academy's goal is to reach each student personally and teach each student how to contribute positively to the many communities they will be part of in their lives.
