Family Support Center Accepting Food Donations

Family Support Center sign

For anyone interested in donating, the Ken-Ton School District Family Support Center is always accepting non-perishable food items for families in the Ken-Ton community. This includes snacks, canned fruits/vegetables, shelf-stable meals, canned meats, pasta/sauce, soup, and other non-perishable grocery items.

The Family Support Center serves hundreds of Ken-Ton families annually. With close connections to schools and regular contact with parents/guardians, the center is positioned to provide direct assistance to families that may be facing food insecurity in our community.

The center is located at 255 Myron Ave. in Kenmore between the Kenmore Junior/Senior High School building and Crosby Field. You can contact the team at 716-874-8510. Donations may be dropped off throughout the week as follows: Mondays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12 to 7 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All donations are appreciated and will directly benefit Ken-Ton School District students.

For families who might need assistance, you can find a list of food banks here: Local Food Banks.
