Braelynn Carroll, Kenmore Junior/Senior High School Student

Braelynn is an eighth grader at Big Picture Middle School who has stood out as a leader among her peers. Our middle school students are scheduled for Leaving to Learns each week, and Braelynn took it upon herself to make a connection with the equestrian department of Willowcreek Family Farm. She worked with our Leaving to Learn Coordinator, Sarah Galante, to schedule the trip for her advisory, and also created the pre- and post-visit activities for the trip. The Big Picture Middle School staff was impressed with her initiative, follow-through, and desire to share one of her passions with her peers. Braelynn is also an overall positive advisory member and can be counted on to be helpful whenever she is needed.
